Craft Bakers Business Day and Evening Awards Dinner
What a day! A heartfelt thank you to all our members and industry supporter members for making the Craft Bakers Business Day and Evening Awards Dinner an unforgettable event. Your support was incredible, and we couldn't have done it without you!
The day was a whirlwind of excitement, with 40 industry supporters showcasing the latest innovations, and bakery professionals from across the UK gathering to discover new products and trends. The masterclasses were a huge success and our experts delivered six outstanding masterclasses, captivating everyone with their skills and knowledge.
Our afternoon was enriched by the dynamic and inspiring keynote speakers. Matthew Jones from Bread Ahead kicked things off, followed by the insightful Michael Bridge, Caroline Grant, John Lamper, and the ever-inspiring Geoff Ramm.
Their talks were packed with valuable insights and left everyone buzzing with new ideas. Keep an eye out—we'll be posting videos of these phenomenal speakers soon!
As the sun set, we moved to the stunning Sky Bar for a drinks reception, where conversations flowed as freely as the drinks. Then, it was time for the grand awards dinner in the ballroom. The atmosphere and food and service was wonderful and the perfect setting, the speech by our outgoing President Patrick Wilkins was deeply moving and we proudly welcomed new President, John Foster MBE.
Then the highlight of the evening—the awards ceremony. Cheers erupted as each bakery competition winner was announced, with proud smiles and applause filling the room. Congratulations to all the winners—you truly deserve it!
Our celebration continued as we honoured our Members of the Month from the past year and crowned our fabulous Member of the Year, Frankie Dyer. Your dedication and excellence shine brightly—well done!
The grand finale was a stirring speech by the legendary Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones MBE. His journey and the creation of his successful brand, 'The Black Farmer,' left us all inspired and motivated. It was the perfect end to an exceptional day.
Thank you, everyone, for being part of this incredible event. Here's to many more celebrations together!
